HELI-VACTM FAST ROPE® SYSTEMS manufactured i/a/w MIL-F-44422 provide anefficient and safe method for infiltrating & evacuating Special Ops personnel to and from point targets. The unique low stretch and abrasion resistant polyester fiber structure along with the Plymkraft proprietary Pli-Moor® construction resist heat buildup during use, eliminates rope hockling or kinking, and affords a fast and fully controlled descent along with a safe and sure assent. The HELI-VACTM FAST ROPE® SYSTEMS were developed in the 1980’s by The Columbian Rope Company in a coordinated effort with our nation’s military and law enforcement services.
Along with the U.S. Army Natick RD Center in Natick, MA, Columbian authored and developed the only FAST ROPE® mil-spec in use today, MIL-F-44422 Fiber Rope Assembly, Insertion/Extraction.
